has anyone figured out or know a way to delete codes from a chip?

i have tried searching but im not sure exactly what type in.

i mean i can send the chip back to apr and pay 50 for removing the p0240 but, i want to remove the SAI and need to pass emissions (fl doesn't have it but jersey does) and its extra money for that if they have it. the reason i have to send it back is because the chip is soldered not flashed.
