Rear fog light/s

I have searched this topic but haven't found anything about it. Is there a way to have the rear fog light on both sides so that it doesn't look like we have a bulb out?

There are some threads on this subject, I think in the B6 A4 Forum. What's interesting is that the B7's have both rear fogs and I believe the B8's have none.

Early B6's can be modifed to have the seconds rear fog light by snapping out the plastic section of the reflector that stops the bulb fitting and add a wire across the rear of the car to link the two fog lights - I did this to my 2003 B6 S4.

Later B6's have a different bulb holder and connector - that won't accept the bulb so you need to replace them as well.

B7s have 2 rear fog lights - at last! I too got fed up of "helpful" neighbours telling me I had a blown bulb.

I doubt that B8s have none - a rear fog light on the offside is a legal requirement in most countries.

You could be right about the no rear fogs for the B8, just passing on what the dealer said. I had one of mine go out in my B7 and the service guy mentioned that it's pretty common but won't be a problem with the B8 because they don't come with any.

I'll have to take a look to see if the housing has a bulb holder.

B8s have front and rear fogs
