Thanks for posting something like this so people like me can see exactly what we would get if we got ebay ecodes. Next time though, don't forget to add 80's crap rock for background music for true Youtube appeal.

Great job with the results! Did you have factory HIDs? Were these just plug and play with your OEM bulbs and HID ballast?

^unless they came out with new black xenon ebay ecodes he had the replace the projectors with the OEM ones(to get a cutoff that sharp that is. you could just get an HID kit though).

I have OEM xenons, If I were to buy the ebay ecodes could I take out the lens from my oem housings and put them in the ebay ones?

no not the lens, the projectors. you also obviously need the bulbs. youll also need the stock ballasts and need to splice the connection off of the stock headlights onto the ebay ecodes because halogen/xenon are different connectors. its easy though. red and brown, red goes to red and brown to brown. install is straight forward and fairly easy but takes a while. took me 10 hours.

Heys guys and girl(A4 ever), thanks for the compliments. Here's the thing about the HIDs. I have an 8000K HID kit, thats all. Surprisingly the lenses actually have an ecode cutoff so adding a kit is really all you need. in my opinion this was the best $200 i've ever spent.

Those are the same ones I bought. Note that they are made for halogen bulbs.

Great video. Nice to see the actual beam pattern on these.

I know FK also makes black headlights for the B6, but I can't find anything specifying whether or not they're intended for halogen or xenon.

already ordered the headlights... i meant which HID kit did you get? like what brand HID setup... its an 8k setup which watt and which brand?
