    Please Help! Engine Ticking Loud

I have been out of country for the past 6 months and left my car at moms house...mistake #1. It was beeing driven every so often minus the last 2 months. When i first left thats what gas hit the roof and i was told they used regular gas.

Well my car wasnt driven for the past two months I got to start it and NOTHING no power or anything. I try jumping it and the battery is def. dead. Once i get it cranked over it is ticking like crazy. I did a search and looks like it is the injectors is what causes that.

My car is stock. How easy is an injector change and what do i need. Is there any quick fix like an additive for the short time being.

Any help is greatly appresheated. I need to see my lady, 6 months no women = crazy. I am going to get a new battery, but what else should i do once i have the new battery. I will order new injectors, which ones would be good for stock but also good for future mods? Also what stock ones do i get if i decide not to go that route right now. Also what cleaner should i buy while i am getting the battery besides seafoam I am not trying to smoke the block right now.

Wait, so you still haven't replaced the battery and you think it's the injectors? I highly doubt your injectors just went bad.

If I understand correctly, you tried jumping the car with a dead battery and it still wouldn't turn over? You know, it's possible the battery is so dead it's useless. Replace that first and see where you are.

It could just be relays cycling. If it's happening after the car is running, then it's probably a collapsed hydraulic lifter. It should go away after driving with good oil pressure for a bit.

What he said. Then run it on the highway for a while while varying the RPM. Clean those injectors out and get a new battery.
