    New wheels... 18's? or 19's?

Just looking around for rims, Im in no rush to buy since the winter season is right around the corner here in Colorado.

But just seeing what people are feeling for size when the spring time comes around.

Gonna be going on my 2001 2.7

depends on the owner, where do you live, what roads do you have, snow no snow...blah blah blah

id say we have pretty good roads here in the Denver metro area. And as far as snow goes, they will be sitting in the garage when the snow comes

18s for the better handling/performance -- that is the point, no?

Re: New wheels... 18's? or 19's?

Im in the same boat. Been torn over both for over a year. Today my choice is 19!

If someone would get back to me I would have a set on order and be ready for spring.

EDIT: 18's are too small and 19's are too big... wish they made a 18.5 and I would be all over it like a donkey on a waffle

Re: New wheels... 18's? or 19's?

ive had 18" and now going with 19" and PA roads are kinda bad, but i see all kinds of cars with 19 , 20 , 21...ect and think to myself, why cant i run a little bit bigger wheel? 18" looks great , but 19" has that little bit extra nice to it...its up to you! is use 18" for winter now!

I've had 18's and now on 19's on my other car. Either way you go you're still gonna swerve to avoid potholes.

    I say go 19's

19's look perfect on the C5's IMO.

Re: New wheels... 18's? or 19's?

Qustion: what size wheels did Audi contemplate when engineering the C5 suspension set-up? The case for 19s seems wholly on "looks nice" type comments.

Re: New wheels... 18's? or 19's?

It depends on the wheel. Some wheels look better in a 19 and some in a 18.
