I am thinking about getting an ecu upgrade done, I know all my options, but from personal experience I would like to know which one will have the most effect on my car speed wise, while being safe.
And yes i will be getting a test pipe and allready have a cat-back straight piping exhaust with a intake cone filter.

I really like my REVO stage II. The program finally settled in and it's boosting to 20ish. Haven't had any problems yet.

I have APR stage 2 with the same mods, and boost up to 19-20psi also. I love my program and wouldn't go back, but I haven't tried Revo or GIAC for the 2.0t yet. You can't go wrong with any of the main 3, I'd go with what is closest like Jmaak said.

Why does the audi dealership carry APR products but wont grantee them ? any run into this problem ?

best thing i can tell you is buy the 3 full programs, they all give you 30 days money back and you test them all out.

I have revo, havent had ANY problems beside torn dv and its awesome...pulls hard with some other supporting items and its great.

I have Apr. Chose it because easiest to flip between programs and lockout for service(Only 10k). Now that I'm a bout to go 2+ Revo looks like the better option because it doesn't request as high of a fuel pump pressure (from what others have found on vortex) as the APR pump file. It also has the ability to easily make adjustment for timing, boost and fuel which can give you more power depending on temperature, cf's and other hardware such as water meth.

i heard GIAC is a really safe chip, and cant go wrong with it at all.
idk very hard decision, from the upgrade set ups I have and a testpipe, how much you think Ill run at the track ?

I think that for a regular stg 1 they are all very similar, but once you have a taste of powa it won't be enough. From what I've read the tweaked revo files make the most power. If your ever thinking of doing the works on a k03 I would get Revo.

honestly I have no idea on times at all. I have the same mods as you and apr. My car feels slow. Fast enough but slow. TP doesn't make much of a difference with stage 1.

My guess right now if I lost the spare and junk in the trunk with 100 file I would run mid 14's at Palmdale(2700ft).

Also their is a database of b7 with times. Good drivers with chip and 100 only have had 13sec passes.

k03 is stock. You go as far as you want with a lease as long as you don't break anything and they don't find out. That's all up to you as far as you want to risk it.

Ko3 is the stock turbo. In the end, the are extremely similar. Just go with the closest one to you. Everyone likes what they have. There is no one who is unhappy with their chip. You will be happy with whatever u get. If you're only getting tp, chip and exhaust then it really doesn't matter.

I'd say revo, giac, and apr are in the same boat as long as you aren't going more than a program/testpipe/exhaust. Once you add more power mods you might want to look more at revo/giac.

i just called some guy from Speed Gallery, and he said with my exhaust GIAC will be giving 25 hp and 80 torque, but when I look at forums, etc, they all have better upgrades.

Think about it: Audi dealers can make some money and eliminate future warranty claims; you pay for the privilege of reducing the chances of getting warranty work in the future or at least make getting warranty work more difficult. Why wouldn't they sell you an APR flash?
