I am an asshole So I went out and up against a STG3 B5 S4 PJ k04, which was running 102octane on Saturday. The same B5 S4 on Saturday killed (2) ASP kit cars, with one running GT28's and the other RS6 turbos. I don't feel bad, but I should have gone at this with 30psi instead of 27 and I should have had race gas myself. The outcomes would have been greatly different.

Round 1 getting ass spanked at 22psi by Jackson's perfectly running PJ k04 B5 S4 on Saturday.....

Round 2 at 25psi still getting really walked....

Last pull at 27psi I fair much better, problem is area under the curve he had it and I didn't along with the other 2 B5 S4's running bigger turbo's than the PJ K04's. I'm planning on coming back and giving this anoher go before I change the hotside to a larger a/r and tuning a bit

yeah.... even on c16 and 30psi he'd still walk you. should have started from a higher rpm and brake boosted at least.

Nice vids. Yeah the hard drive camera's just cant handle being bounced around which is why I stopped trying to record my runs from inside the car since all it would do is shut off on the launch.

The area under the curve the B5 S4 with PJ k04's has is more than we can have in most cases. Keep in mind Bern that the last pull I improved dramatically and with the obvious which you mentioned in conjunction with 104 or higher I think the results will vary a bit, not saying I can walk Jackson but I think I may hold my own much better then.

Thanks Mike, I don't know why I waited so long to try an SD card in the same camera, but I did and just found out by recording on the SD you have no issue with vibration. You should try an SD card in your camera and see if you get the same results.

He's one of the most well known PJ K04 setups on the other forum and the WO B5S4 forums. He had 102octane, no spray. Unfortuntley the dig was from 3500ish in 3rd, so I had lag and he didn't. His car is the epitomy of perfectly running PJK04 and has been for years. I have no idea what I am making though. My DYNO numbers were from 18psi only, I have no clue what happens above that. I can BUTT dyno this weekend and see where I stand I guess. I need to do a leakdown and compression test as well.

im sorry man, i really don't mean to pick on you or play devils advocate. but those ASP cars are a JOKE. everyone on the s4 boards(AW too) knows this. Guru's setup is FAAAAAAAAR beyond any GT car ASP has put out other than Eurocodes.

but don't feel bad about being spanked by Jackson's avant. he has one of the top 10 best running k04 cars.

but running an actual WELL setup GT S4, you would get your ass handed to you. and so would jackson

Forget the butt dyno. We can use my g-tech pro comp meter and that will tell you your approx. numbers.
