In my A6, there were about 20 little plastic 1/4 turn screws.

Re: Removing trunk liner for dynamat

I have a DIY to remove the sides and bottom rear, but as far as the top and back of the trunk lid there is no DIY. Just futz around and you'll figure it out, no interior pieces are that hard
    Ignorance is bliss.

Yea the cover on the trunk lid just pops off, plus two screws. I removed mine to install my backup cam and it was pretty easy. The hardest part is disconnecting the child abductor release handle.

Pretty simple. Just 2 screws and about 10 clips. Then split the body in the trunk thingy in half with a blade and undo it. There is a screw under the body in the trunk thingy too. Dam dent in my trunk

Also. Once you fix that rattle another will surface. Then once you fix those...more will start from under the car, but I can't hear those from the inside. However from the outside from the fuel pump I think......Ghetto

if my memory serves me correct

you need to remove that handle (green one inside) than two screws where the handle is and it comes off...its clipped on, so just pull carefully...

my installer removed it when I dynamat'd my trunk lid and whole trunk
