What is the proper way to take off the sidemarkers on a B5 01' ? I bought some smoked ones online and don't want to damage anything.

You should be able to slide them towards the headlights and then pop up the trunk-side of it out, then the front will follow. Re-installing is just as easy.

I use a credit card or something like that (blockbuster card etc....) just slide it in there and it'll press the spring back, then the light pops right out.

Mine are now shaved, but I removed them with a screwdriver with duct tape over the metal.

Damm I'm reading some of the complaints from the previous buyers, It seems this isn't the first time someone has this same issue, why wouldn't they change that these units don't fit B5 01'!!
