    Water...leak?

    So it rained this weekend..

When I was driving home I smelt something kind of funny inside the car but didnt really take notice to it...I then reached over to get my shoes and the ENTIRE passenger seat floor (think the entire floormat area) is just completely soaked with water...

All I did was drive home and it was then parked in the garage for a day and half...

A few months ago I did have the windshield replaced...this is the only possibility I think of why it would be leaking...but does that make sense for only the floor to be wet? Did it just trickle down the frame or something?

there is a grommet under the battery track. knock it out and clean the cowel.
if thats clear check the sunroof drains. they are above the a pillars in the front, and c pillars in the back.

    Re: Water...leak?

I know...bad juju for a necrobump but this might be a cause of my issue.

I just noticed something similiar to that of the OP with the exception that my entire interior windows are fogged up, driverside and rear driverside floorboards are wet but the passenger and passenger side are not.

Similiar fix as above or something totally different?

EDIT: We've also received at least two feet of snow and lots of rain recently.

    Re: Water...leak?

I cleaned my water drains in the firewall and under the battery. It seemed to help for a little but still I don't think was the solution to my problem.

When ever it rains, I get a little bit of water collecting in the back floor behind/under my drivers seat. I checked the sun roof drains and it appears to flow right out after pouring water into them.

I need to replace my windshield, that might help, but Im tempted to just take the seat out and interior. I can't seem to figure out where the water is getting in.

Good luck, id be curious to know what your issue was.
