I know its part of the evap system, the charcoal canister thing. I want to know if i can remove it. If so what do with the lines that run to it? I want to get rid of this so i can flatten out the spare tire well for my sub to go into.

You can eliminate it, it's just not worth the effort.

if you want to waste your money go ahead, it will recirculate the gas vapors to be burned in the engine, if removed the gas will slowly "evaporate". you get more of a complete burn for your purchased fuel
