Found oil in the IC Pipes

I replaced my N75 valve and one of my intercooler hose last Saturday and found some oil in the IC pipes. I did some research and found some "could be" symptoms so I am not sure which one is causing the issue. Also, I noticed that the car is burning oil when left idle. Btw, my K04 turbo has about 40K miles.

Here are the symptoms that could be the problem that I found:

    1.PCV Valve
    2.Plugged or clogged breather
    3.Blown or worn turbo
4.Oil control rings could be clogged
    5.Turbo seal

I am leaning towards #1 or #3. Also, can anyone tell me where #1 and #2 is located?

Let me know what your suggestions are.

    TIA

Re: Found oil in the IC Pipes

#1 is a black hockey puck looking valve, plumbed into ur TIP. It can be found along the left top side of the engine. I doubt that is your issue if you found enough oil to be alarmed, because I have been running without one for a while now and didn't notice much oil in my IC piping. I don't know which "breather" you're talking about, but follow the T hose of the back of the engine (one direction actually leads to the PCV valve) and make sure it's not kinked or bent or torn.
