    Wheel bearing help...

    Long story short, hit a curb and fkd my left front bearing. I need a new bearing and hub.

    A shop in town quoted the parts at ~157 for bearing and ~200 for the hub. The stealership in town quoted me roughly the same (only $15 more).

    My question is do I have other options as replacements parts, mainly a cheaper option? Thank you for any input

    that doesnt sound too bad, try your local auto store and see how much they run for. I just help'd replace my dads wheel bearings (chevy truck) wasnt too hard and I am not sure how our cars bearings are, but I couldnt imagine being soo much more difficult.

    Else, salvage yard maybe? But if you were going to pay that, spend the extra 15 bucks and get it done at the dealer.
