05.5 B7 2.0T Quattro RPM fluctuates at idle

Well, I had this issue with my old car, and it was a plether of problems...Any advice on what it could be?

It is a pretty minor fluctuation/surging at idle, 200rpms or so.

I purchased @ 34k, has 39k on it...still under warranty. I just had the 35k maint. done to it as well...it has decided to happen a bit more now that I left the local Audi dealership. Hrmmm

let me add that it is not throwing up any codes.

Make sure your dipstick is all the way in.

fuel cut? my buddys quattro does the same thing.does it feel like the car is running out of gas?

I call it surging, but it does not dip very low..it usually goes from 700~ rpm to 900~ or so...I do not think it has gone down in RPMs.

i had the same problem on mine, 05.5 6spd quattro.......i didn't think anything of it, took it in for an oil change one day, got it back, and never had it happen again. but i did notice when it did happen the a/c was on, but after it warmed up, it went away.

It seems to happen more often when it IS warmed up...I do not typically use AC either.

not trying to be funny bro, but i would check air filter ,and how clean your MAF is.....that might have something to do with it. our cars kinda generate a lot of blow by.........

I religiously watched my RPMS and it does indeed fluctuate up 200~~ or down 200~~ or so...seems random. But only happens at idle, of course.

MAF and Air filter are clean.

I am going to bring it in...I hate how long it takes for them to diagnose it, haha.

I have to get my crazy mirror checked out too, on occasion it'll randomly move itself upwards when i unlock the door, it's really weird. I do use the same key everytime, so it should never need to reset.
