Who has the biggest rear/front wheel lip combo?

Well, I was thinking it would be sick to have a 5" rear lip....not sure if I would be able to accommodate it...so my question is who has wheels that have at least 2" lip...anyone rocking a 5" wheel lip?

o ya, all this within the means of stock fenders and no wide body...

I had a 3" lip on my Mayas before I sold them two weeks ago. It was such a pain in the ass to clean

To maximize the fitment for biggest lips possible you will need to have your rims custom ordered. I think it would depend on how much space is between the caliper and the rim. Then from there to the wheel well. So offset, ride height, tire size and camber will play a big part. I have at least 3-4 in back and 2 up front. I believe my friend's S5 with HRE's is pushing close to 5 in the rear.

S5 is completely different man... The S5 was built to accomodate hugely wider tires than the B7 A4...

on 245x35x19 front tires and 275x30x19 in the back.

its the neuspeed race springs (2" drop front back)
and camber is stock didnt touch those.

Not to be the butt in the thread that brings this up, but.....staggered wheels and quattro is a pretty awesome way to burn up a diff. To my knowledge, if it's close, there isn't an issue, but a few inches ain't close.

Depends if you plan on breaking traction often. A wider wheel in the back will have more contact surface and therefore grip than the front wheel. If you're cornering aggressively, they will not rotate evenly...causing long term damage to the diff.

The different offsets (often the case with staggered setups), create different contact points and will also provide traction differences between front and rear...causing long term damage to the diff.

If you plan on tracking the car or you often corner very aggressively, then a staggered set up on quattro is not a good idea. If you're cruising to work and around town, then go for it.

yup wheels are gone though....they were darricks (capt. obvious) wheels originally, then my friend bought them, then i bought them off my friend. HRE 526's 18x8.5 and 18x10

yup stock shocks. back rubs sometimes on BAD bumps or holes when there is 3+ people in the car. but that time im dumped !!!
