So i want to replace the mufflers on my car without getting a whole new exhaust. What are the sizing stuff i need for some mufflers...i have no clue about that shit haha.

Remus makes an exhaust that is pretty much mufflers only.

i dont think too many companies make a muffler only, but im sure you could get some kind of universal muffler from borla or something, and have a exhuast shop bend pipe or make it work for you.

IMO, just save...i know its hard, but a full exhaust from STaSIS (or what have you) would be 10x better for the $

im waiting to get the STaSIS, and Im hoping I can get a set of the black RS4 tips and make them work....love that look.

Why would you only want to do mufflers only? The resonator is very restrictive and doing a whole catback will give you much better flow and power. The only companies that do muffler-only systems are European because they have strict noise regulations but that also means they are high quality and very expensive...generally over $1k for mufflers only. If you're really set on doing mufflers only and are on a budget, go with Magnaflow 14835 cans. I'm sure you can get these installed for ~$400. That said, you can probably pick up a used catback system for around the same money in the classifieds.

the other thing you have to take into account is your rear valence..you cant fit quads on or different shapes..gotta be a circle tip..

i was thiking about the same thing... i have tiptronic and i dont want to get a full exhaust system i was wondering if there were some good mufflers out there that create a decent sound and arent too expensive....

thats exactly what i did, i just took my resonator out and put on some aftermarket mufflers.
