    Need help with LED's

    ok i got new LED bulbs for my ecodes, (w5w bulbs) and i installed them and 1 of them blinks and the other one is fine and the one that blinks i get a light out code... also sometimes they both blink... ne 1 kno wuts up??

    Kind of looks like a strobe light rite.. haha I had the same problem You NEED Resisters for the LED's. The problem is that the LED's are rated to 12v or something like that, and the alternator in the car supplies peak power at different RPM's which causes the LED to "fry".

    Basically if you REV the engine all the way it will charge the whole electrical system at a higher voltage hurting whatever isn't rated to 14.5 volts (European electrical system standard voltage).

    Can anybody clarify this for me?

    ahh i see, how do reisitors work? and how much are they?
