    Is anyone using it?
    K mac, or other brand

Is it necessary for lowering car? or just replace tires every 12k.

My tires are wore off after 12k, even they have thread wear of 300

    Re: Camber Kit

My car is low and I do not have a camber kit, so NO it is NOT necessary!

I lowered my car at 16K and I now have 45K and still the same tires....

I rotate them every 5K and i do mainly freeway miles

    Re: Camber Kit

if you want your wheels to sit completely flat and provide the absolute best traction and the best tire tread wear... you should get it... otherwise don't.

    Your best option..
KMAC bushings are very difficult to adjust, and when they wear out you have to buy new ones again.

    Adjustable control arms

    Re: Camber Kit

You don't need a camber kit. Even if you lower your car below 25", your tires will wear reasonably even, especially if you push the car on corners from time to time.

    Re: Camber Kit

My Falken 452 are done at 12k, the inner edge (toward the center of the car) are wore off. I am guessing it is because of the negative camber.

My car is sitting at exactly 25"

    Re: Camber Kit

Did you get your car aligned after you lowered it? Uneven tire wear can be caused by camber but it's mostly caused by toe being out. At 25", you should be running around -1.6 camber. In my experience, you don't start seeing uneven tire wear until you get closer to -2, especially if you drive the car aggressively into turns.

I would check the alignment first and if camber is the culprit, lifting the car to ~25.25" should enable you to set camber at -1.3 or -1.4 which will not cause uneven tire wear.

Yes, my car had an alignment check after it was lowered. But you are right on the number, I should get another alignment check soon before any further conclusion.
    Thanks

It isn't so bad when you consider you're getting all new control arms plus the adjustability. A set of KMAC bushings runs around $300 and needs to be replaced when they wear out. Plus you have to replace the control arms regularly using them anyhow.

The Stern adjustables have replaceable bushings and ball joints. Simply rebuild them when they wear out.
