    painting lowers: adhesion promoter before primer?

    Ok i have done alot of search and still cant get it straight. Do i use the plastic adhesive promoter bfore i prime? DO i need to prime it? Thanks for the help!

    Adhesion promoter goes direct on plastic. I still prime mine after that just to make sure I didn't miss anything in the prep. Plus, using primer that is not the paint color gives you good indication on if you've gotten all areas evenly with paint.

    ok, i was thinking about using a sandable filler primer to get rid of the plastic texture. I think i will do a DIY tomorrow

    bull dog adhesion promoter, and there are many others you can buy. and yes you use it before anything is applied to the plastic
