    hey i just wanted to open a thread about the RS5.

    im dying for this car to come out! anyone know what price range it might be in?

    No pricing or ETA yet. The latest I believe is a planned debut at the Detroit auto show and a 450 HP V8 based on the previous RS4 engine. This info of course changes by the month

    i heard they are dropping the twin turbo v10 from the RS6 in it!

    I'd give my left ball for that engine! Seriously, I would be very content even with V8 TT. Hopefully pricing is $70-$80k...

    hopefully!

    ive heard 2 different things!

    1. TT V10 580 HP
    2. the current RS4 engine tuned to 458hp < this seems more reliable

    the TT V10 would put it in supercar territory!

    TT V10 seems to make no sense given that RS5 would eclipse performance of R8 (even if it had the rumored V10). As you said, slightly massaged version of the RS4 def makes more sense. However, there has been some recent discussion on TT V8 in othe forums.

    yes the TT V10 deff seems like a dream! so does a TT V8!

    most likely it will be the RS4 engine tuned up!

    if anyone has information and more importantly accurate info.. please post!
