VAG-COM won't connect error??

I installed everything and everything works until i try to switch codes and i get an "connect" error. Any help? I have vag 409.1 OBD 2 w/ A4 2003 1.8t Q

Make sure you turn off antivirus software when connecting. If you are using a laptop, change the screen saver, hibernate, and hard disk shutoff settings.

n/m i got it to work on XP. Its a bitch on VISTA.
