?? rpm drop at idle | no codes | woosh sound | pls help!!

i got the v6 3.0 just had anoil change + filter..

the car idels on but then every 5 sec the rpm drops for 100-200 rpm and then comes back strong.. i can even feel it during driving..(does not do it when engie just starts up.. but a min later it will..i popped the hood ideling and i hear a little woosh sound close to the firewall coming out of this pumplike looking black thing.... does this has to do with vacuum? anyone ever had this??

its driving me nuts.. i saw people with similar issues.. but no real solution?

its allmost like the engine is running out of breath and then suddenly cathces its breath again.. that might be the vaccum pump i was talking about..

I'm having a similar problem. I accelerate and the car lurches a bit and then the whoosh sound. Shop said it was a boost leak, so they checked the intake system and found the suction pump was leaking and the ninety degree hose had split. So they replaced everything and it ran good for a week. Now its happening again!! Could this be something else?!? Goin back to the shop on Monday...sux
