Anyone who has these .. Do you seem like you go thru pads rather quickly with everyday driving??? I Have 16,XXX miles on my Audi and do about 90 miles a day on highway so no brakes are being applied and I need front pads already. I was just curious if I was the only one -- Thanks Guys!!!

    SBS has 3 compounds:
Pro Touring (blue) = performance street
Pro Track (copper) = street/track mix
    Pro Race (gold) = track

First thing you should do is find out exactly which pads you have. Easiest way to tell is by the color of the backplates. Mine came with the Pro Tracks.
The Pro Tracks and Pro Race wear quickly.
The Pro Tracks give me about 15K miles on the street, or 1 track day and 7k on the street, or 2 track days then they are toast. These pads are insane on the street to the point of almost too grabby. They are noisy, especially after a track day, and dust like crazy. But, are pretty insane all around pad.
The Pro Race I only use on the track because they don't work well cold, are super noisy, and are hard on my rotors. On the track, they stop a bit better when hot and are more consistent feeling than the Pro Tracks. I get about 3 track days out of the Pro Race.
I just started using the Pro Touring for the street a couple of months ago. While they don't stop as good as the Pro Tracks, my car still stops better than almost anything on the street. The arn't as initially grabby as the Pro Tracks, which makes them a little easier to drive. They seem to be a bit quieter, and a little less dusty. I'm hoping they will give me some better mileage, cuz I'm getting tired of buying street and track pads all the time!

Another way to tell which pad you have is that the Touring has a rubber shim glued to the backplate, beveled pad edges, and 3 gas slots. The track has a metal shim, no bevels, and 3 gas slots. The race, no shim, no bevels, and 1 gas slot.

I go directly thru Stasis. I think around $250-$300 a set depending on the compound.

Are you sure you have SBS and not Ferrodo pads? How worn are they? I think severely worn pads could possibly wear past the slots. I'll take a picture of each type of pad on Sunday when I switch them out for the track.

I am looking to replace pads in my 328mm Mono4 kit as well. I currently have used the StaSiS street pads they gave me with the kit for 3 track days and maybe 1200 miles on road driving. That being said...I dont feel TOO comfortable bringing them to the track much more. I havent had a chance to measure the wear (I also dont have any measurements from StaSiS to go off of), but am thinking they are getting down there. the rotors seem to be holding up fine.

I plan on another 2, maybe 3 track days this year. I'm debating on getting the StaSiS track pad and trying those out for track days and then swapping the street pads back in for street duty or.... i dont kow. suggestions>?

I have a brand new set of race pads, plus a couple other sets of race pads with a little "meat" still left on them. Also have a set of 370mm rotors. The rings are shot, but the hats are in good shape. All someone would need to do is send them off to Stasis and have new rings put on them. I haven't had a chance to put them up for sale in the classifieds yet. PM me if you or anyone else is interested.

370? wow...would probably need a bracket to adjust fitment to install those bad boys. No way running 17" wheel.

As stated, I'm needing street AND track pads that will be comparable.
