Deval RS4 bumper done through EuroGear/Auto Werks *NOW with PICS*

So I finally got my car back with the RS4 bumper, OEM RS4 grille/filler, and DEPO black projectors installed. The paint match is about 90-95%, and although not perfect, I can live with it. It's slightly more silver than the rest of the car; I think there is too much pearl/metallic in the paint they mixed for it. It's not very noticeable from the front, but you can pretty much tell on the sides where it matches up with the fenders though. Also, the advertised paint+install is wrong on the post by EuroGear; it's advertised as $250 for paint and install, but I was charged $250 for paint and $50 for install. Not a big deal considering it's still a good price and I wasn't going to argue over $50 after I just dished out ~$1,500 for the whole transformation. I was also warned before paint started that it would be a 95% paint match due to dolphin gray being pretty much the hardest Audi color to match, but once again, at that point it was too late to change my mind as I had already bought all the parts...so there are some negatives about the whole thing, but all in all I'm satisfied, especially considering money out of pocket was only $150 Pics will be up soon hopefully, I've got so much stuff going on right now that it's not exactly a top priority

It's kinda hard to complain after he warned me about the paint match before hand, but I might see if there's anything they can do to make it a little better. It depends on the light as well.

The fitment is a little off too, so I need to have that adjusted when I get some time. Where its matched to the fenders is slightly wavy, which is the biggest eye sore to me. I'll take some pictures soon to explain better, instead of writing a book trying to describe the things that are off haha.

So I have some before/after shots to show the progress but of course the car's dirty and taken with a crappy cam in all of them. Just to show you guys for now, I'll have some clean pics w/a good camera soon. Lemme know how bad the paint/fitment is too because I already know it's coming...I might get it fixed, I just don't have the time right now

Yeah, just the front. It was a choice of getting the stock non S-Line front repaired or chipping in $150 and sourcing the parts myself to get the whole RS4 front basically. I'm looking to pick up S4 door blades soon to help blend out the sides a little. The fitment is a bit off on the sides where it matches up to the fenders; you can't really tell in the pics but it's not a completely flush fit and is a little off in wheel well arch. These are pics my friend took w/o me knowing so they're all I have for now, I'll post more fitment/paint specific pics later.

They're staggered LM Reps, the rears are a little stretched and they're painted silver with a polished lip. Don't know what brand either, got them from Eric at Supreme Power.

The pictures don't really give good angles for flow as you pointed out haha. It flows ok from the side and front and in person it flows ok, but hopefully S4 doorblades will be on soon too.

color isnt too bad at all. would look amazing with at least side skirts, to me the mesh around the fog grills looks off, it looks amazing when the oem rs4 fog grills are retro-fitted. your car has potential

ah... the paint's off by quite a bit...
a local shop in my area painted my votex chin spoilers dolphin gray and it was a 99% match - granted, the votex are alot smaller and maybe it's just the pictures, but the color match is not even close

i'm digging the bumper though; fitment isn't too bad

If I was going to pay that much for a bumper, it better look OEM. The color clearly doesn't match. That's my one qualm with after market bumpers/body kits. The color usually doesn't match perfectly, and therefore doesn't look OEM....

The problem with some audi colors is the combo of metallic with a unique color meaning its going to look a little different regardless, then you factor in the weathering aspect and it makes it even harder. I hope that my DTM conversion looks ok....silver is a bitch too

Front is awesome, but paintjob is not! I wouldn't be able to live with that if it looks like it does on the pics. It's going to irritate you every time you walk up to your car.
I had my silver front paintet on my A6 and it didn't match and it bugged me every god damn day! I know he warned you that it could be some match problems but that color doesn't look 95% to me.
Depos looks great compared to the halogens. Think I might get on the angelboat too....:p

The paint difference depends on the light as I said above, but the front isn't really that noticeable at all. The sides is where you can tell it doesn't match too well. I was thinking maybe I could have the shop, or a shop, spray a light tint on it to help blend, does that sound too far fetched? Honestly, it's a decent match overall, just a shade lighter. It looks like they mixed too much metallic in. As I said before, it was basically free, so I'll take it any day over the non s-line front.

The mesh grilles is what I think throws it off or cheapens it. Once I get some time, I'm going to either do the S6 LEDs like Defunkt or RS4 grilles. But it will work for now, I've got bigger things to focus my attention on unfortunately

The car looks great but the paint does not. Makes it look like a giant piece of colored plastic, especially in the 2nd last pic.

Otherwise it looks great. Is it possible to have the fog light area done in the rs4 honeycomb mesh as opposed t just mesh?

it is a nice looking upgrade for next to nothing in cost. you gotta figure painted plastic and painted metal( bumpercover/ fenders) are going to turn out a little different. even your pics (4th and 5th down look as if the paint doesn't match up very well)but I am sure it looks awesome in person.and it's only in those certain pics that it looks off. otherwise awesome pics

they really should have blended the paint into the front fenders, then the contrast wouldn't be so bad (I made that mistake the first time i got something painted on my car). Also, you're gonna need to get side skirts, that bumper is way too aggressive/low for the rest of your car.

As mentioned, the material of your chassis and the Deval bumper being a form of plastic/fiberglass won't hold the paint the same way, although a good paint shop will be able to get it close but exactly the same can't be guaranteed. Yours is WAY off though.

Deval is a 20 footer- looks good from 20 feet or more
