For those of us who aren't lazy and never have (and never will) put our cars through a car wash, just develop a system and eventually you'll only spend 15 minutes per wheel to get them perfectly clean.

PS21 Wheel Cleaner works like a charm...I just use the sponge they include with the spray bottle.

the p21s wheel gel is great, i'll spray that on, then usually follow up with some normal car wash to get the dirt out of the corners. griot's garage makes this little mitt: link that is great for getting in between spokes. I use a boar's hair wheel brush to clean the flat surfaces. And when all else fails, just wet a finger and work it in the small areas.

i don't use wheel cleaners anymore.. i use car soap. the wheel degreasers damage the clearcoat on wheels sometimes and can be acidic.

i took mine off the car every 2-3 mos to clean by hand. which also allowed me the opportunity to slap on a bunch of anti-sieze.

I'm not lazy and I like washing my car but I just don't have an hour, or half an hour for that matter, to spend cleaning wheels. I've sold mine.

cotton rag wrapped on a finger with standard car soap. Pain in the ass to clean, but they're def worth it once all of that brake dust is gone.

If you're clay barring and waxing, you might as well go all out anyway. A good car wash will generally take 2-3 hours...for me at least.

Yeah, sticking your finger in every nook gets old. I've always seen these infomercials and thought they were cheesy as hell, but I saw this thing for $10 at Walgreens and figured it would be perfect for the wheels.

    http://www.sonicscrubber.com/?gclid=...FQO2FQodhWac3g

It was pretty cheap and it saves me some time...not to mention my finger tips aren't sore afterwards.

    Re: for titanium edition owners

Haha that sonic scrubber looks like my toothbrush. I also got a kick out of the part on their website that says, "At first glance, the SonicScrubber may be mistaken for an electric toothbrush. But don’t be fooled; You don’t want to put this brush in your mouth!"

I always thought about using the wheel brush I have, but the brissles seem really hard and I'm worried I'm going to scratch the finish on my wheels. I have black OZ Ultraleggeras (Kind of like titanium package but less spokes ). I usually just use a different car mitt for my wheels... Sometimes I miss spots in the corners and my hands/fingers get sore when I'm done. I'll probably try and pick up one of those mini finger mitts. Seems like it would be a lot easier to get into tight places.
