damn sunroof (its not the switch)

So i decided to slide open the sunroof today seeing as how its such a nice day out. Drove around with it open a bit and when I got on the highway the noise from the wind was getting a little annoying so I decided to close it. I flipped the switch to the close position and waited for the sunroof to close. It seems to have closed all the way (i took a look from the outside) but its making a loud noise now (whenever I go over like 45mph) as if part of it is still sticking up. If i tilt the window up it makes the noise go away but I cant have it tilted like that all the time. Any suggestions??

What loud noise is it making? Wind coming in?

the sound sounds like as if part of the sunroof is not flush with the roof itself. I know the sound is produced by the wind but the wind itself is not coming into the cabin. Does that make sense?

Without actually riding in the car it's hard to say what it could be. Maybe you tore a seal?

would the seal be located on the sunroof itself or on the roof?

Open the sunroof till the end, and check all the seals, see if there are cracks, etc. Also, look carefully where it closes, check if there are any objects blocking it from closing all the way.

Re: damn sunroof (its not the switch)

i took a look at it and all looks fine. From what I can see all is good and nothing is blocking it from closing completely. Then again, if i had a pic to compare my sunroof with then maybe i could find something. damn this is getting on my nerves.....
