So i know that a lot of people replace the rear sway bar with the RS4 bar but has anybody baught an upgraded bar for the RS4 and put in on our A4.

There 29mm and at the stiffest setting are 304% more stiffer than the stock RS4 bar supposedly....

    That would be siiickkk...

    has anybody done it?

why just eat one hamburger, when you could try and stuff 10 down your throat? because sometimes what's good enough is what works for most people.

    Re: Rear Sway Bar

it is always a difficult thing to do... changing how your cars suspension handles i mean. Tightening up your sways as much as you can is not always going to benefit you. Two terms to know are loose and tight. You need to find the balance between the two and doing that can cost ALOT of money in prototype parts and lab tests. This is why we use the RS4 rear sway, which has had enough engineering time in the lab with the car chassis we are driving, to be accurate and durable for performance driving on roads. If you are trackspec building, thats a whole nother league. Audi puts in on the rs4 for a reason ;)

why dont you shove all your little hamburgers down your throat cool guy....

maybe if you didnt drive your car like a bitch you would be able to see how much this damn thing plows through the corners....

I have an RS4 sway bar on and i have my rear tire pressures high as helll to make the car as stiff as i can in the rear to "free it up" and this pig keeps understeering....no matter how much i trail break into a corner to put all the load on the front and keep it off of the rear it still pushes....

All im asking is a simple question

So please can someone just give me an intelligent answer and not be a bunch of smart asses

    Re: Rear Sway Bar

H&R and hotchkis makes big ass sway bars. bigger than rs4 ones. but good luck trying to make the rear swing out.. its fucking hard to do without crashing. you just gotta know what to do obviously. our cars are designed to understeer alot and the Quattro isn't going to help much either. goodluck and dont crash

Wow another internet tough guy. Relax we are trying to help. My best guess would be to call up a good shop like Statis and ask for there recommendation as they know what they are doing.

Do you have coils or just the RS4 sway? If you have coils, how low is your car?
