Favorite Carwash?

I really don't have a specific one that I go to. But I'd like to find one. What's your favorite and why? My preference is an all hand wash one. Anybody know a good one on the westside? Santa Monica, Westwood, etc?

Blue Wave Wash on Federal and Santa Monica isn't bad. You can get a hand wash there (they also have pull through machine though). I usuallyw ash my own car though.

EDIT: but don't wash today, it's raining! ahha

I know about Blue Wave. It's up the street from my job. I get gas at the Shell there.

when i first got my car, had it hand wash..bad mistake went home looked around scratch marks on the hood. I gues it was rubbed down using a dirty chamois..

..never after that, wash it myself....

Normally I wash it myself too, but I only work in LA so when it gets dirty I have nowhere to wash it. Unless I come to one of you guys' house.

none of my cars have ever or will ever visit a car wash. Having some less than min wage immigrant (they're situation is sad and sucks) roll a dirty used terry cloth towel over my paint is never going to happen.

In fact, you guys should boycott these car washes that treat these employees like they do.

Wash it myself, I know I care more about my care than the min. wage employees working at car washes. I also have a small fetish in car wash supplies.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER PUT YOUR CAR THROUGH A MACHINE DRIVE THROUGH CAR WASH. They are HORRIBLE for your paint.

Lol I know everyone there, I just say I want a regular wash and I automatically get a full car wash with Armarol, wax, sealer, etc. LOL all for $11

after a car wash fucked up my rims I have always washed my car myself. Now that its matte all I use is a spray bottle filled with water and a towel haha

I've been to a bunch and Overland car wash has always had the best quality for the money. I noticed that when cars were waiting to get piced up, the workers would occasionally go over and give them a quick dust-off so they was perfectly clean when the owners pick them up. Good attention to detail.
