ahh..sorry for not posting back to the thread earlier lol....hmmmm....Well to be honest i've never created a rally before...but, maybe we can get some guys together and have a little g2g somewhere...lets do a nice little drive around bear mountain area / fishkill twisties or some highway drives

I always drive in the Bear MTN for work related stuff in my pickup... always dreamed of taking my car out there. Sounds like a good plan! I know an awsome route we can take ;)

Another good one is in western NJ, a run up to the highest mountain in NJ. Just did the run with ACNA-NJ for the fall foliage drive. Awsome tight roads with no houses, intersections and best of all no place for cops to hide.... and this goes on for about 20 miles straight.

We can meet up somewhere at the border of NY, NJ, and head up to the High Point area, and then out all back roads to bear Mtn from there, and do some fun roads thru Harriaman State Park!!!!!!!!!

Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ has opened up their road course. That sunday they'll be hosting their track class from 9-5. Once they issue you your Green license you will be able to race on any of their open track dates!

The more the merrier ...definitely like some diversity in the crowd...then we can have some different cars to race

on that Sunday, Nov 30th... it's going to cost i believe $250.00 because it's a training course from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with LOTS of track time. Once you get the training course over with you achieve a "Green" license which allows you to attend ANY open track even/time trial event in the future... which will only cost you $150.00.

only $150? That's still some money, but $250 for all day event, sounds good. Plus add new brake pads and tires.

lol...oh man....what if we got a couple cars together and explained to them that the economy is in shambles, however we are willing to blaze around the track all day for the training course if we get a little discount action lol

That track is fun. Got to run it the friday before WaterFest, for Kreuzerfest. It was like 100+ degrees but definately worth the four laps. And yes the cars tires, brakes and fuel took a beating! Now that i'm buying the wife a new car,+ $250 + pads + fuel + tires = a very expensive day. I'm out for a track day.

now that I'm thinking about it, I'm starting to agree with you all haha. Lets make that Sunday something less extreme and take it easy on some beautiful scenic routes.

So the Reef Restaurant is where we are meeeting, and at what time. How does everyone feel about meeting there and going thru Bear MTN, then take it all the way up to High Point NJ. Some good roads in mind. But what time, i need to get someone to watch my kids!

Did I just hear depart at 9? (Thought so) I'm game. Maybe meet around Stoney Point and cut across Harriman from there? I don't have good feel for where people are coming from.... About 75 miles to High Point?

Yeah those roads were the ones i was thinking. We could meet up in Mahwah area, and cruise up 17, to 17a - over sterling forest MTN,- over Mount Peter MTN, - County Rt.1 - Pine island Turnpike, out toward Vernon, think the roads are 517, and then onto Rt23 to high Point? Or we could make it up as we go!
