New Shoes Came In! VMR RS4 Reps...

So I bought 19" VMR RS4 Reps in Gunmetal Grey from fellow member muffin man, and they finally came in today! They're wrapped in 235/35/19 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions.

Going into the stealership tomorrow to get put on/put on my APR snub/do a final vehicle go thru as my warranty is up on Tuesday:( and the real costs begin...

I've also done a few other cosmetic things to the S4 the last week and when the wheels are on I will definitely upload some photos. Either way, here are some teasers for y'all...

Here they are in the boxes. I asked the FedEx guy if he was really UPS and just dressed for Halloween...haha

Since they were used (about 500 miles, so not too bad) I had to clean 'em up like new...here they are shinin'


I can already tell it is going to be a WELCOME improvement...

he did....it was nearly 2 weeks ago. But we had to wait for his wheels/tires to get in (tire rack sent him wrong size at first) then he had to drop them off in Seattle for me so I could have them shipped off, which then took about 5 days to get down here via FedEx ground. It's felt like an eternity....but good things come to those who wait!

Now it's off to get some Halloween drank on!

Also, you planing on keeping the suspension stock?

I was planning on keeping the susp stock...but after I see them on I'm sure I'll be thirsting for something lower, haha....

no I'm not. I need to do one last "walk-thru" of the car before warranty is up...mainly brakes since they are the original pads and rotors at 50k...so they are just going to throw the wheels on for me free, guess they want to keep my business.

not only that but (although I never posted this) about 2 months ago I threw a coil and had to have the car flatbedded to the dealership. well a big issue developed, the flat bed company didn't take my car there and we couldn't find it, they scratched my bumper, ended up having the flatbed co.'s dispatcher yelling at me...yadda yadda yadda. so now they are really careful to treat me well over there b/c I got f'd by audi roadside on the whole thing....so long story short - I am NOT paying to have the rims put on.

word. Not sure. Man Of Steel thinks...

1. you should only have those if your car is an RS4 (or a B7 S4 with 18" version)
2. you shouldn't buy 'cheap' reps...you should buy high end wheels

Good points I guess...to each his own.

I think the RS4 wheels/reps look awesome on B7 cars, but I don't love seeing them on B6...mostly from an aesthetic point of view. They're designed for the B7...curvy and rounded like the car.

The B6 is very different...creased, sharp straight lines...and the 18" Avus wheel that came on the B6 is a PERFECT match for that car. RS4 wheels/reps + B6 S4 = oil and water to my eye.

Of course the beauty of it is that nobody on here buys their wheels based on what I (or Man of Steel) think...they buy what they like, so all the power to everyone!

Nah, red SOLO cups would be like have OEM RS4's. Most people have reps so generic store brand red plastic cups are more analogous to RS4 reps.

hey guys, thanks for all the props! the wheels are on and I love them!! I need to post pics I know, but it has rained the last 2 days in LA (weird, I know) and the S4 is wayyy dirty...I'll hopefully get it cleaned up this week and throw up some photos! the wheels look tits on the car.....and now I'm thirsty for coilovers...lol

I sold my titanium wheels to a guy with a white B6 and they look fantastic on his car. I'm sure yours will look even better with the gunmetal RS4s. Looking forward to the pics.
