Anyone interested in a set of custom two-tone Alcantara door skins? (silver interior)

I'm getting rid of the custom two-tone Alcantara door skins that I made for my B7 when I was documenting the car for Fourtitude's "Project S4". Send me an email if you're interested, price is negotiable.

Here is a picture which shows them off pretty well...

I'm interested in that steering wheel. Where did you get it and was it difficult to install?

No, I did these 2 1/2 years ago before the RS4 came out.... Stratmosphere had a set of the RS4 panels with the exact color napa leather of my silver seats which were $3,000... they gave them to me for $1,500.... so I just want to sell these... I'm not looking for a trade for stock.

As for the B6.. yeah, they're the same.... and if you have silver in your B6, it'll look just like the picture. The alcantara is a shade whiter, but the texture of the alcantara makes it look different depending on the direction you look anyway.

... The wheel wasn't bad... it was the expensive of it plus the airbag which had to be shipped directly from Germany that was the pain...

I should add... they have the slots in the rear doors for sun shades.. So if you have them or want to add them, these panels have the opening in the top to accept them.

Um... No... See, the ones in the picture above are the custom alcantara panels that I made.... After I made these, the guys at Stratmosphere found out the RS4 two-tone (in napa leather) became available (for $3,000)... They put them on their S4 avant for a short time and when they sold it, they took those back off. They called me last week to see if I'd by chance wanted them and they gave them to me for $1500.

Sooo.. If you want the RS4 two-tone napa leather panels, you can order them from the factory for $3000 (that was based on the better conversion rate a couple years ago)... If you want my custom alcantara panels, I'm looking for $700 OBO...

It would be much easier if you just posted what you are selling and what you want for them. This other business about what you are replacing them with and what you paid for the replacements, and what the previous owner paid for them and how long they used the ones you are buying is kind of confusing.. This is one case of too much info!

Call me crazy, but, I don't see how this would be that difficult to do yourself if you really wanted to. It looks great.

Re: Anyone interested in a set of custom two-tone Alcantara door skins? (silver inter

Well, based on the PM's I recieved... there are a lot of people want to know WHY I'm replacing them and if I'm replacing them with something I find more fitting, why would they buy them. So, I guess I'm kinda trying to fill everyone in before I get any more of those types of messages.... Also, I don't think ANYONE really understands how expensive these panels are and what they consist of.... Figuring if they did, they can see how reasonable what I'm asking for them is.. I guess.

..and for anyone looking to do this themselves (yes I'll call you crazy - I was), I'll tell you right now it cost me about $250 in Alcantara and the most frustrating night of my life (each panel took a couple hours to get right). Now you've got to understand I did this to a 6 month old ($55k) car and that didn't calm my nerves any haha. It came out looking as good as it could have, but for me, because the alcantara is thick and it has to be applied on top of the leather that's there... I'm a perfectionist and to me it just didn't look exactly like what I wanted.... although it's probably the most complimented part of the car..
