    GIAC Boost Controller Flash File

I bought the car with the software already installed so I'm not sure if it has the file or not, but I downloaded it and ran the file and it displayed my current setting and allowed me to up the boost. I just wanted to know if anyone has tried to install the software that didn't have the flash and it ran correctly? I have a mbc so I haven't actually tested it yet. Also the adjustments are from 210-255. I was thinking this was mbar and not psi? So is 250 actually 25psi or is it 2500 mbar = 22psi?

2500 mbar is 2.5 bar.. so i dont think its that.. considering 2.5 bar is like 33psi

you are forgetting to subtract for ambient pressure which is 1000 mbar at sealevel. 2550 mbar at sea level would be 1.55 bar or about 22.5 psi.

That said, the numbers are just integers. 210 is the base setting, you can play with the boost controller and move the boost up as you like. Just make sure you have enough octane to do so as the boost will be corrected out if knock gets too high.

no what austin is saying is that(i think) the numbers are just random integers.. and there is no set value for them. just play with it until you get the right setting
