Probably a dumb question, but for those of you who switch between 18's in the summer and 17's in the winter, do you need to get it realigned each time for the different sized tires ? Also, when you change springs from stock to lower aftermarket springs, do you initially need to get an alignment ? Thanks in advance

Some people get summer winter alignments if they raise/lower the car from season to season on coilovers. Otherwise, no you don't.

I like to wait a week or so to get it aligned to make sure everything has settled.

if your messing with suspension, don't wait a week to align. a week is enough for plenty of uneven tire wear.

Then don't drive the car if you feel that way. A week is about enough time for the suspension to settle. If you align while the car is still dropping, then you're wasting your money.

Mholme is right, suspensions won't settle completely for a week
