Need some help guys

Hey I’m having some trouble with my car. Its a B5 A4 1.8T. 1st the battery was low on the car. I was going to leave to replace it. I haven’t been driving it much because I’m currently unemployed. So its been sitting for a few days at a time. I’ve been having to jump it to start it. Today I was on my way to get the batt. and had to jump it. It started but it gave me a CEL. Every time I give it gas it drops below 1k rpms and almost dies. Can anyone help me? Any guesses?

sounds like a MAF problem. Vag it, or scan with obdII scanner for codes. you will get ALOT more help.

Yea I know but I tried to drive it to get the codes but couldnt get it to go.

first thing is pull up any stored codes, dont have to drive it or start it even to pull up any codes. Is the CEL still on? Does your battery charge when you turn the car on?(should get to be around 14V)
