    heater questions

ok so i think my heater is broken or something. I push that little button on the right side of the climate controls in between the up and down arrows and i figured out that it turns on the vents. But then i push the red + button to turn up the heat, and even when i put it on high the heat starts to get hotter but then it basically stops and doesn't feel cold but it feels cool, definitely not warm. And shouldn't high be like 90 degrees??? I'm a little worried that i have a broken heater. It's been cold out in the mornings and i haven't been able to make my heater get hot and warm up my car so i've been resorting to my seat warmer to heat me up so i don't shiver the entire way to school. It basically feels like my heat won't go past about 60 or 65 degrees. So basically it's blowing luke warm/slightly cool air at me when i'm cold already.

    Re: heater questions

Do you have a VAG-COM? If yes, perform the basic settings by viewing measuring block 001 in the A/C controller, and switch to basic setting mode, wait for all the displayed servo motor position values to reach 000, then close the controller and turn off the key for awhile, then test.
