I usually hate seeing people post FATS times to show how fast their cars are because there are just too many variables. However, three runs turning almost the same time is pretty consistant. 2.5 is fucking FAST!

its so true... a lot of the time I'm on the phone with mike telling him how my FATS came down a tenth of a second lol, he's like man dont get so caught up in those numbers it will make you crazy! which is true. I mean think about it. I went from a 3.6 FATS with a broken N75 down to a 3.43 and im like dayummm. but in reality i mean, whats that, 2 TENTHS of a second! lol. oh well, its the madness these forums create .

he mentioned he may bring it to the track tomorrow, that would be interesting to see what it runs.

The RS6's are very very similair to a gt2554...That car is pushing a lot of air at 26psi. Those times and FATS are awesome, congrats!

My motor blew? I bent one valve due to a poorly cut seat? You know what a seat is? Theres really not as close spec wise as you might think. We haven't seen a speed shop emphasis on tuning a gt2554 shop car as the rs6ss.

You can't compare F.A.T times to gauge overall performance on 2 totally different setups as the power band and the way the turbos react are totally different.. Heres an example to look at ( there are pjk04 cars that have ran similar F.A.T times, if you have a pjk04 car for instance that could run lets say a 2.3 F.A.T time, Vast rs6 car running a 2.5 F.A.T time will still overall perform better/win in a race probably by a lot.. So really we should compare rs6 F.A.T times to rs6 F.A.T times, pjk04ss times to pjk04 cars and when running GT turbos the size of the turbos/overall setups should be the same or theres really no point as each setup/turbo size moves the power band in different spots.

Im not threatening him with more than knowledge and him being an arrogant dick who in reality doesnt know shit. He always has rude comments for nothing, meanwhile he puts tires and valve covers on the wrong side.. He wanted to "cover stuff, drop the car" or whatever bullshit, like it takes longer to put that tire or valve cover on the right side. I hate the little punks in this scene now... When some of us were building 10 sec cars, these little shits were sucking thumbs.. Now daddy gives them some money to spend and they think they have the right to talk shit..

No those runs were with the full exhaust and no methanol injection running. I also logged this car this weekend with methanol and only the muffler section of the exhaust off, they'll be posted on monday morning on audiworld.

Yeah I love the twisty tracks a lot better than just the straights, to me it's just more of an adrenaline rush, rather than just going down a quarter mile.
