faster and only at 15lbs...however i think it will be faster because i just found out my tstat is fd...its sticking open and running me cold-which i think is where my mis at idle is-how hard is the tstat...i hear its two bolts

T stat is easy, but expect to loose a lot of coolant.

nope work as a check cashier...droped a valve and destroyed piston 4-so i rebuil the bottom end and did some preventative maintnance-and dont mind the gas guage its broke i usually average 20mpg

any other pics of the TIP? maybe outside of the car? im gettin my setup together, same turbo and mani. I was thinking of using the cobra hose but look like you have a nice tip setup.

did some loggin...looks like im a tad bit shy of 300 horse at 15lbs however sean your loggin thing doesnt allow the hole log so i have to find another way of posting it

I am going to change it so you can specify the section you want to convert, but you could always delete the rows you don't want to display prior to uploading the log.

Dude --- something is wrong ----------- very wrong. You are running way too much timing advance for pump gas? Do you have it in c16 mode or something?

Well, one thing is confusing me, your throttle angle never gets above 88 degrees, so I don't know if the car thinks its in part throttle, maybe you were only @ part throttle during those logs, but thats too much timing for WOT.

I think that the log shows it's pulling up to 6.7 degrees of timing to prevent knocking is a bit high, as well as the timing advance numbers being in the mid to high 20's, seems pretty high. I'm no expert though, my T3/T04 just came in and is still in a box

well after talking to chris he siad it seemed fine and it was more than likely due to the low boost so im gonna log it at 20lbs and then send him another one but if anything he said he could take some timing away so hold tight for more info

The video looks good. Seems like it spools up fairly nicely, and it should be nice once u add more boost and figure out ur issues.

But on a side note:
How much did Bob Q charge you for that kinda head work (parts and labor included)....shoot me a PM if u don't feel like posting. I might wanna do some similar work when I throw in rods

Not that its not fast but @15psi hes not even in the efficiency of the turbo yet... I just wanna see what this beast does on higher boost levels!

seem to be having a slight miss- under low load...put in a dif coil on cylinder one worse-however it was a old coil-switched coil 3 to 1 no misses till idling on cyl.1 so i assume its my coils so im getting new coils tomarrow hopefully that solves the miss-either that or a valve didnt seat right-thursday im getting a compression test and oil change hopeing for the best and then saturday a track day is calling as long as everything comes up fine

Wasn't expecting it to be that much.....I'm thinking about throwin in some rods and calico coated bearings over the winter, but I don't want to turn up the boost too high without doing some mild headwork.....did you assemble the head urself? I was planning on getting Jake to do the rods and bearings for me.

will do...nah i had a shop do all my work and am somewhat regretting it for the price i paid it shouldnt be missing at all right now-the head was assembled i believe by the machine shop- if your confortable with doing work do it id rather have someone else deal with the problems tho pm in process
