RS4 Seats

So my buddy is interested in selling me his seats but I'm not really sure how easy it is to install them and if they just bolt right up to where my stock ones are. Both my stock seats are power, heated, and with airbags. I'm just wondering if anyone has these in their car and just the basic information on installing them and if any specific parts are needed.

you would really have to take your time to take 3-4 hours its very easy three plugs in the floor board and a four triple square (12 point) bolts.

really? where? i've generally seen just the fronts go for over $1500, and most of the ones that were less were in terrible shape.

Although, FWIW, I was looking at those last week and the auction got pulled w/ an hour to go...plus $99 is really cheap to ship something that bulky. Hopefully its legit

i dont think it would be more than a few bolts and wire clips. ill give ya a hand if you want. those seats are muuuuccch better than what we have now. you may need vag-com for the airbags, not sure there.

Do you honestly think you'll be paying for 1400 for the front after the whole auction is said and done... It is ebay after all, there is always one douche that will end up owning you all by going in at the last second and out bid you by a dollar. Sad but true.

Do I honestly think that? No. But I also tend not to buy stuff on eBay so its fairly irrelevant. There's something to be said when buying stuff out of the classifieds as 9 times out of 10 the seller is honest and you have an idea where its coming from. I tend to hear more horror stories about eBay then I do about the classifieds on this or other websites; granted some of that is do to volume, but just saying...

It is normal if the RS4 seat price has drop since 2008... around 1000$ sound a good price though for the front.
