Snow Tires?? It seems Early but its not above 50

So when is everyone planning on switching over to their snows this season. I have been thinking about it and figure that i would rather do it earlier than once the first storm hits. what are are your Plans???

I put mine on early last week....don't know much about tires, but I've heard that when the temperature drops, summer tires lose some of their grip (which makes sense).....so I make the switch early every year

i prob wont do it for another month... or right before the first snow... i drive maybe 200 miles a week and changing my tires is a 15-20 minute job for me

doublezero there are a couple sets on craigs list right now, i saw a set of 16" new tires for 325, they are the same tires i have and they are great in the snow. and comfortable on the highway. there are a couple sets of tires and wheels also.

Will be putting mine on next week, Nice that Direct tire stores them so just pull in and swap and no lugging

I'm definitely freaking out because I cant seem to find anything thats reasonable. I really wanted a set of stockers for my B5 S4, but they're too pricey.

Hell, I'll run steelies with some proper tires on them, I dont care. I just dont want to be on 18s when the snow hits. 17s would be preferred, as close to stock as I could.

back on topic, I would be putting them on this weekend. :P
