    Help with codes!

    So i have a CEL and i cant pass smog. We Vagd the car yesterday and came up with these codes. Some are not as important but i want to fix everything while im at it, so could you guys please help me out?


    First One: 17536/P1128/004392 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean


    Possible Causes
    • Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor faulty
    • Oxygen Sensor Control faulty
      • Oxygen Sensor(s) faulty

    • Fuel Injector(s) faulty

    Possible Solutions
    • Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor
    • Check Oxygen Sensor Control
      • Check Oxygen Sensor(s)

    • Check Fuel Injector(s)


    Second one: 18062/P1654:Please check DTC Memory of control panel ECU

    Finally the Third: 01206 Signal for Duration of Ignition Off Time

    Possible Causes


    • Ignition Switch faulty
    • Wiring between Instrument Cluster (J285) and Climatronic Control (J255) faulty
    • Instrument Cluster (J285) faulty
    • Climatronic Control (J255) faulty

    Possible Solutions

    • Check Ignition Switch
    • Check Wiring between Instrument Cluster (J285) and Climatronic Control (J255)
    • Check Instrument Cluster (J285)
    • Check Climatronic Control (J255)

    and the next couple:

    • 01039:Engine coolant temperature sensor(G2)
    • 01371: Alarm triggered by door contact switch;Driver's Side
    • 01372:Alarm triggered by Door Contact Switch; Passenger Side or Rear
    • 01374:Alarm triggered by Terminal 15
    • 01370:Alarm triggered by Interior Monitoring
    • 01368:Alarm triggered by Luggage Compartment Switch
    • 00991:Interior Lights 28-00 - Short to B+
    • 00955-Key 1:Adaptation Limit Surpassed
    • 00956-Key 2: 09-00 - Adaptation Limit Surpassed

    I know its a lot but i hope someone can help me! What i would like to know is how and exactly where to start checking for these faults.

    Are you sure all of those codes are legit? They could just be stored on there for a while. Clear them and see what comes back.

    Well i had to drive out to a guy to get the codes, he is kind of far out. So i cant really see if some of them went away. I think the ones that most likely have not gone away are 01039,01206,18062, and 17536
