Rattling sound

Lately, I noticed a rattling sound coming from under the car towards the rear (not from the engine bay) when i turn on the ignition just before the engine starts up. Any clue as to what it is?

The car is a b7 s4.

wow that started 2 weeks ago for me. mine is more like a rattle grind sound like something isn't getting the power it needs to turn or do what it does correctly.

is this normal? or you think the fuel pump is just about fried? the car has about 55k miles on it. I got it about 2 months ago CPO'd. Other than the rattling sound, car drives perfect.

Yeah that's when mine went too. Take it in. They should replace the pump and filter.

I was looking over dealer repair history and looks like the dealer replaced the fuel pump and filter at around 40k. I got it shortly after that.

This happens to me to sometimes before egnition and sometimes i get it right after i start my car is that the fuel pump, and will warranty cover that?
