guide on how to replace front speakers?

hey, i used the search but couldnt find a good guide on how to reaplace the front speakers in my a4. can anyone find me a link to a good diy page on it? thanks.

there a brief 'how to', no pics though.
fairly simple to do.
just make sure you mount speakers that will fit, size wise.
may need another bracket, (make your own)

Here is a link to replacing the window regulator (has pictures of how to take the door panel off).

Click the link, it is the SIXTH tech article down. Follow this link UNTIL "step 2."

At this point you should have easy access to the speaker. I recommend pulling the panel, setting it on the ground and accessing the speaker from the other side (can get away with not disconnecting all the electrical wires (speaker, windows, locks, etc)).

The second link shows this (a few pics/ideas I came up with while replacing my front speakers) method being used (panel resting on ground accessing from other side).

You will still have to disconnect the plastic looking white thing which goes from the interior handle to the door latching mechanism.
