P0103 - MAF help

My car won't go past 3000 RPMs ... if it's idling and I rev it, it revs fine until I push it past 3000 RPMs... then the car just hits hard and drops ... and when I'm driving it, too. I took it for a 10-mile drive just now... I can't take it past 3000 RPMs.

The code I get is P0103

When I disconnect the MAF, it gets a little worse.

What do you need help with exactly? Clean your MAF, if the problem persists then replace it.

If you want to be 100% before shelling out the cash, either log your MAF or find someone with the exact same MAF who'll let you use it to see if the problem goes away. All of which is probably a waste of time.

It's wise to post your engine and year when asking.
