    drivers door lock question

I searched around and found some useful info but the strange part about my problem is that my drivers door will not lock when i use the fob ( LOCK ) It works fine when i use the key on the drivers door.

It'll unlock fine with the remote and using the door key. I can also unlock all doors, trunk and gas cap with the fob.
Also, when locking the car using remote all doors lock with the exception of the drivers door.

im reading my haynes ( regretting not getting bentley ) but the diagram and information is a bit vague.

Maybe its the actuator itself, thats crapping out.

I'm with Prey. I think you test the actuator every time all the locks move except the driver's door. Obviously you have vacuum. That actuator has a little bellows in it....I'll bet it crapped out on you.

What I don't know is if you can just buy the actuator or does Audi want you to buy a whole new latch mechanism. Might be a good one to get from the junk yard.
