So far it's been a learning process taking the engine apart. It's kind of fun actually.
But right now we are trying to take off the heads without pulling the motor. Discussed with BigBoost (Rob) and he had the same head assembly issue and he resolved it without pulling the motor. So I am going to try it as well.
One question though, does anyone know how to remove the cam gears? I probably need a puller of some sort, but just wondering if anyone knows how to or done it before?
We found out what caused the timing to jump. It was the rubber gormet that holds the oil dip stick to the timing belt cover. I have no idea how it came loose into the timing belt, but it did. So just letting you guys know to check that rubber gormet or you might have to do the same thing I'm doing. LOL.
Also, anyone is more then welcome to stop by if you want to see the process or want to lend a hand.
