I don't think there are too many shops, if any in MD that are going to put their seal of approval on something illegal. MD started cracking down on that a long time ago, same with state inspections...

    Re: window tint

yea, you can give up on that one.... no shop is going to certify tints darker than 35% because they get a big ass fine if the authorities find out about it and trace the job back to the shop. best bet would just be to go ahead and take them off before you pick up another ticket. then when you get your next set, get 35% or lighter and you won't have a problem.

    Not gonna happen...

The only form of acceptance in MD, especially when youve been given a fix-it ticket, is by the state troopers. You go to the barracks or the MVA office and they put these little stickers on your windows. MD is kinda strict. Your best bet is to just get legal tint and get the stickers.

    Re: window tint

Same thing happened to me. Went around looking for shops but no one will risk doing it. Ended up taking it all off. Sorry to say it but your prolly going to have to remove it.

    Re: window tint

You are very lucky if you can find a shop to sign off on tint. And the only want to get a sticker saying it is legal is from the MVA. SOOO that isnt going happen

x2 - besides, our economy sucks right now, so do your best to support your local businesses and get legal tint Better to give your money to them than to the state
