Yes i have searched cant really seem to find my answer tho I wanna go to either a gt2817r or this http://www.034motorsport.com/product...ducts_id=17552 I was wondering differences in terms of power and also i would not be using the same bolt pattern with the 2817r correct i would have to get a new manifold and new cat correct. I want to try and keep the cat or hfc so i can pass emissions and from what i have read in terms of reliability it would be better just to stick with the stock manifold

It is better to get a high flow manifold when going BT. I would say the GTRS eliminator is the limit for using the stock manifold. But even then, people upgrade to get more flow (more hp). As far as emissions go, you should check with your state regulations on requirements for passing. For example, in NY I only need my emission components to be operational via OBD port. And I am permitted to have one of my engine components not pass 'ready' to have my car pass inspection (in your situation, that would mean the secondary 02 sensor). While other states such as CA are just silly when it comes to emissions.

Another option is to get a 3" downpipe with a HFC attached/welded on. 034 I am more than sure can construct one for you. Or you can cut out your existing HFC where it is a 3" diameter on both ends, cut a peice of the downpipe out and then weld the Cat onto there.

Also, this GB has been going on for some time now and it seems nobody has taken advantage of it. Or is simply broke, like me.

    Re: Difference

Im only trying to spend like 2500-3000 and try and retain stock feel and driveability. For CT you need a cat or you cant pass w/o it and also i want to keep the exhaust that i have now so it seems it would be easier to keep something with the 3 bolt pattern.
