Best muffler for custom exhaust???????

Whats everyone opinion on the best muffler to use for a custom exhaust? Im getting a custom exhaust built but i dont want something thats real loud just something alittle deep.

ummm... supersprint setup with an x-pipe or balanced pipe put in to replace the stock h-pipe would do best... supersprint or remus... maybe militek...

I have Remus - it sounds and looks great! I also agree with the above, X pipe is in order. Maybe remove the silencer muffler - not sure how loud that would be though.?

Its located in the middle between the cats and the rear muffler.

sorry stupid question, looked under the car after i wrote that, I'm looking into custom exhaust, has any one removed these? i want some noise but not so that every one with in two miles hears me comin

well i was thinking about a custom cat back, would it be obnoxiously loud with only the one muffler?

Honestly, you won't know until you do it. It will highly depend on how the rear muffler is designed. Let me know though and send some pix. I'd like to open mine up by adding an X pipe and bigger piping. I was also planning on taking my silencer off and replacing it with a straight through design - possibly by Borla and keeping the Remus on the rear.

Will do, i guess i was only planing on straight probably 3" with only the muffler. MY buddy works at a midas and can get me a magnaflow muffler for 50 bucks would that be a bad idea?

I just cut off my rear muffler 2 weeks ago, added some stock size pipeing and and tips....not to loud nice and deep....
