hamburg technic?

My front tie rods need to be replaced and I am looking at the hamburg technic set on ebay. I searched and so far people here don't seem to have any problems with them but on the bimmer forums people had a lot of issues. Anyone here had bad experiences with the hamburg technic ctrl arms/ tie rod set???

call audi and see if the recall has been done on your car yet.....theres a recall for the tie rods on our cars....i called a couple weeks ago but mine was already done back in 01

they will fail very soon and ebay seller is going to ignore your emails regarding warranty

ive had mine one for about 100o-1500 miles no problems and ride nice. FWIW i think its fred2ka4 that has had great luck with these sets

Buy a set of Meyle's from PureMS and call it good. This is a 1/2 hour job to replace both sides. Unless they won't turn out easy and are rusted in.

It's been awhile since I've looked around at prices. Guess the $ to Euro is hurting after all. I think I paid around $30 each.
