VAG-COM Cable & Programming Software

Hey everyone, first off I should introduce myself. My name is Scott, I've been in Vegas for about 3 years. About 2 weeks ago, I sold my 2006 A3 and got a 2007 A4. I can't say enough about this car, I love it! My A3 had zero options, completely base model. My new A4 has the same engine (2.0T) as the A3, but it has almost every option except for NAV.

• Xenon
• Bluetooth
• Convienence Package
• Premium Package
• Sirius SAT
• Tint

My problem is, there are a few things I would like to program. One is automatic windows down when holding "unlock" on my key. Another is to unlock all doors when I press unlock just one time (as opposed to just the driver door). I'm sure there are more, but those are the two on the top of my list.

I am planning on bringing my car into Desert Audi to see if they will program these items for me, but if they won't, is there anybody here in town who has the VAG-COM cable who would be willing to loan the cable to a fellow AZ member? I can't justify spending ~$300 just to make these quick updates.

Excelbjj, thanks for the offer and quick response. I brought my car in this morning and they told me they would do it at the dealership. I'll double-check to see that it works now, and if not, I'll have to take you up on your offer. Thanks again.

Okay, big thanks to Desert Audi! I dropped off my car for them to replace a sensor and they updated my settings so I now have automatic windows with my key! I love Desert Audi. Going to start a new thread to explain what they did for my broken sensor.
